Medical Receptionist

As a medical receptionist at the Gainesville clinic, Karen Hueni is often the first point of contact that people have with Haymarket PT.  Whether on the phone or during the check in and out process, she excels at answering patient’s questions and assisting with appointment scheduling needs.  Karen works hard to ensure that patients have a clear and full understanding of their insurance, so they can make informed decisions about their healthcare and she takes great pleasure in getting to meet and converse with people from all walks of life.

As a United States Naval Veteran serving eleven years as a Hospital Corpsman, Karen brings a wealth of experience to her position.  She also has an Associates Degree in Nursing working in cardiac surgery and emergency room care. Prior to working at HPT, she was the office manager at a chiropractic office for five years.

When not busy managing the front desk, Karen enjoys engaging in her love of photography, especially when hiking.  On weekends, she cares for her five year old granddaughter, Virginia.  She derives great enjoyment from gardening and creating new landscapes, and is a die-hard Michigan State Spartan fan
